Afghanistan Humanitarian Action
July 2024
February 2025

Acted proposes to rehabilitate five water networks across Kunduz, Balkh, and Jawzjan provinces, benefiting 855 households (5,985 individuals). The project includes a WASH assessment to identify needs and ensure compliance with standards. Additionally, hygiene promotion will be provided to the 855 households supported with the WASH rehabilitation, while 290 vulnerable households - among the 855 supported - will receive hygiene kits. Acted will target priority households with women, children, or disabled family members. The initiative aims to improve access to clean water and reduce the spread of hygiene-related and water-borne diseases.
