The 12-month project will take place at camp 1E, 3, and 4 of Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar. ACTED will engage women in camps 3, 4, and 1E to participate in training sessions focused on the production, cleaning, and maintenance reusable sanitary pads alongside cleaning gears. ACTED will also integrate the produced reusable sanitary pads and gears to female hygiene management kits and cleaning kits to be distributed to women and girls in camps, covering for the existing high needs.

ACTED’s WASTE Management brigades of 36 volunteers will conduct a variety of activities including cleaning campaigns involving the community, collecting waste, conducting awareness raising on key hygiene topics. Moreover, ACTED will coordinate with other WASH partners to respond to the gaps and needs, raising awareness, and conducting cleaning campaigns.
