HAVEN – Humanitarian Action through Volunteers, Enablers, and Networks

Ukraine
April 2024
March 2025

The FCDO-funded Humanitarian Action through Volunteers, Enablers and Networks (HAVEN) Consortium unites national and international NGOs in Ukraine, aiming to more effectively support local entities involved in humanitarian operations in frontline areas. Supporting the localisation of the humanitarian sector in Ukraine, HAVEN empowers and strengthens the capacity of local organizations and their role in coordinating the delivery of humanitarian assistance. At the same time, the HAVEN Consortium creates linkages between humanitarian and early recovery initiatives, connecting them to wider support network where needed. As a result of HAVEN, coordination mechanisms among local CSO, volunteer groups and local administrators in Kharkivska, Zaporizka, Mykolaivska and Khersonska oblasts will be strengthened.
